First International Congress of the European Venom Network EUVEN took place during 14-16 September 2021. The meeting featured a combination of invited keynotes, contributed talks and posters. Abstracts were arranged in three categories: Diversity of Venom and Venomous Organisms, Innovative Approaches in Venom Research, Applications and Biomedical Implications of Venom. Keynote speakers were Mandë Holford from City University of New York and American Museum of Natural History, Nicholas Casewell from Liverpool School of Tropic Medicine and Glenn King from Institue for Molecular Bioscience, University of Queensland.
