The Department of Biology at the University of Copenhagen is offering a fully-funded PhD fellowship in Biochemistry. The fellowship is part of the research project “Unravelling the universe of macro-conotoxins” focusing on the structural and functional characterization of large toxins from predatory marine cone snails. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the University of Utah, USA. Applicants with educational backgrounds in biochemistry, biology, molecular biomedicine, or molecular biology are encouraged to apply. Hands-on experience in protein expression and purification, as well as standard techniques in protein characterization and molecular biology, are required.
